Restoration of the Listed Crown Bar, and the refurbishment and fitout of the non-listed DIning Rooms. The Crown Bar is an original Victorian gin-palace owned by the National Trust and visited by hundreds of thousands of overseas guests.

The restoration of the bar included improvements to the glass, mirrors, woodwork and ornate tiles. The bar is in a busy city centre location, pollutants from traffic covered the external tiles in dust and left the internal snugs dull.

Testimonial

I just wanted to say thank you again for a fantastic project. The quality of finish was great and the refurbishment has been well received by Mitchell and Butlers and our guests. The standard of handover on a project working with a new design and team was great. Thank you for the effort. The operations team only had positive feedback for the service provided during and following completion on the work. Finally I’d like to add another thank you for the joiners that got the python route in for the first floor bar – People said it couldn’t be done!
